AFTERMATH

of the application for Judicial Review of the NICE 'CFS/ME' Guideline

When a number of people attend the same football match and subsequently report the same outcome, this does not mean those people are involved in a 'conspiracy'.

This observation, however, does not seem to have occurred to Stephen Ralph, owner of the Yahoo! discussion list "MEActionUK" who, after first blocking publication of seven consecutive posts of mine (and thus denying me right of reply on a number of fronts), suddenly terminated my membership of the list.

I had not broken any list rules and have subsequently been offered no justifiable explanation by Mr Ralph for his actions.

Others have since been expelled from the list.

What we have in common is that we tried to engage in rational and reasonable discussion in response to a statement issued on 29 July 2009 by Prof Malcolm Hooper, published on "MEActionUK", and what it said about a YouTube video concerning the recent application for Judicial Review of the NICE Guideline on 'CFS/ME'. Mr Ralph has gagged and censored us out, apparently for no other reason than to kill off any further discussion of this topic.

This web site has been created in defence of those of us currently being maligned and discredited on the internet and to inform those of the M.E. community who are being prevented from participating in an important aspect of M.E. advocacy and activism. The site will be updated continually, as and when developments occur.
